1914

The Bank of St. Elizabeth was chartered and resided in St. Elizabeth where they rented the Schell Trading Company building until 1918.
1918
Bank of St. Elizabeth moved buildings where it stayed until 1971.
1951
People's Bank of St. Thomas is moved to Meta and renamed Meta State Bank. Mid America Bank was known as Meta State Bank from 1951-1984. Ad in Meta 50th Anniversary Book.
1971
Bank of St. Elizabeth moved to it’s now current location at 215 Main Street.
1973
Bank of St. Elizabeth opened a location in Marys Home.
1984
Meta State Bank opened its second branch in Linn. The bank was renamed Mid America Bank to reflect its growing market.
1993
Mid America Bank opened its third location in Wardsville.
2004
Mid America Bank opened it’s permanent branch in Linn.
2006
Mid America Bank opened its fourth location in Holts Summit.
2006
Bank of St. Elizabeth acquires Bank of Freeburg.
2008
Mid America Bank opened its fifth location in Belle.
2013
Mid America Bank celebrated 100 years in business!
2015
Bank of St. Elizabeth opened its fourth location in Osage Beach.
2018
Mid America Bank opened its permanent branch in Belle.
2020
Mid America Bank opened its sixth location in Jefferson City.
2021
Mid America Bank acquired the four branches of Bank of St. Elizabeth.
2022
Bank of St. Elizabeth and it’s four branches merge with and become Mid America Bank.
